ABOUT

Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

With the goal of assisting you to reach the level of functioning that you desire. Being heard and seen are the major components of treatment. You are a unique individual and your experience is subjective.

Effective open communication leads to the development of a clearer clinical picture and improved treatment outcomes. When indicated, medications can help lighten the load so that issues can become manageable. My goal is to help you be an active participant in your treatment. My specialty is medication management with supportive therapy.

I have eight years of experience of assisting patients in acute psychiatric settings prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. That experience helped shape and develop me as a clinician. I was able to observe how central effective communication is to positive outcomes. The goal is building a partnership. Respecting you as an individual and helping you draw from your resources is my approach.

Are you wondering if prescription medications could help you?
